Glossy berries, right up close.
The brightest foreground colours come from juicy fruit and sugar-coated sweets. In Fruit Word Hunt, the same delicious theme becomes six names to find in the letter grid.
Try looking for an unusual letter first, then see what grows beside it.

Fruit falls beneath a frosting castle.
Pink towers rise above a kingdom of colourful waterfalls. This is fantasy scenery to enjoy, with no claimable gift or paid entrance hidden behind the artwork.
No produce is for sale here. The fruit, terraces and glasshouse are illustrated parts of a free puzzle world.

Make room for a small discovery.
Wrapped gifts, soft frosting and gleaming fruit give the pavilion a festive feel. The word puzzle stays available without purchases, timers or paid hints.
On this site, a good stopping point can be as simple as one completed name.
A note on taking breaksA few letters. Plenty of possibilities.
- Apple
- A familiar five-letter word with a useful double P in the middle.
- Peach
- The P and H make a neat pair of endpoints to look for.
- Grape
- Try spotting G first. It often stands out among softer vowel shapes.
- Melon
- Five letters, with a different sound in every square.
- Berry
- The double R is a helpful little clue in the centre.
- Lime
- The shortest of this page’s fruit names, at four letters.
The best details are deliciously bright.
Orange fountains splash into sugar-blue water between candy islands. Look for the colour combinations, then return to the grid for another fruit name.
In the puzzle, start by looking for an endpoint. Then scan the neighbouring lines for the next letter.
A line can run backwards. Try reading from the other end before dismissing a promising group.

Turn to the about pageThe practical bits, before you turn the page.
Finding words should take a little attention. Understanding the controls should not.
How do I select a word?
Select the first letter, then the last letter. The letters between them must form a straight horizontal, vertical or diagonal line.
Can words run backwards?
Yes. A fruit name may run in any of the eight straight directions. You can also select the ends in either order.
Why did my selection not count?
Check that the selected letters spell one of the six names listed beside the grid. A bent path cannot form a word in this puzzle.
Is there a time limit or paid hint?
Neither. The puzzle is untimed and free, with no payments or prize mechanism.
Can I play without a mouse?
Yes. Tab into the grid, use arrow keys to focus a letter, then press Enter to choose it. Escape clears a starting selection.
